Does this describe you?

  • Enjoys talking with seniors and listening to their stories about the “old days”?
  • Are you always cooking to ensure everyone has enough to eat?
  • Do you love to shop?
  • Do you feel most productive when you’re busy driving around town taking care of things to be done?
  • Want to make someone smile today?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, or if you’ve ever thought about helping someone or just wanted to be more involved, this is for you. Come learn more about the meaningful volunteer opportunities at Lake County Council on Aging. We are offering two informational sessions of approximately one hour duration; one at 10:00am or one at 2:00pm on May 17th, 2019.

Volunteering is not only about helping others; volunteering improves the quality of your health and well-being as well. Our volunteer positions are designed to improve the life of seniors; while being an enjoyable and rewarding experience for volunteers.

Volunteers are currently needed in several positions, but there is no requirement or obligation to attend. Information about our volunteer positions; who’s served, what’s involved and why it’s important, will be shared. Everyone is welcome!
