By making a charitable donation to the Lake County Council on Aging, you are supporting programs that connect some of the oldest and most vulnerable members of our community to services that help them remain independent, safe and nutritionally healthy.
Your support can help make a real difference in the lives of older adults who are facing challenges that they never expected.
The Council on Aging is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law.
“Your gift will allow the Council on Aging to provide the trusted support that seniors, their families, and others have come to expect from us.”
JOSEPH R. TOMSICK
Chief Executive Officer
Ways to Donate to the Council on Aging
Make a donation to support the services that are provided by the Council on Aging, or consider a contribution to directly assist one of the agency’s departments (Meals on Wheels, Social Work, Homemaker, for instance).
IN MEMORIAM DONATIONS
For many older adults, the Council on Aging plays a critical role in the quality of life that they enjoy. Volunteers and staff members work closely with the senior and their family members, sometimes developing relationships that last for years. We are especially grateful for gifts made in remembrance of one of our clients.
Other options include Planned Giving, such as designating the Council on Aging as a beneficiary in your will, or even donating your car.
DONATE YOUR CAR
If you have a car, boat, RV, or other vehicle that you no longer want or need, you can donate it to the Lake County Council on Aging, receive a tax-deduction for the sale price of the vehicle, and make a hassle-free contribution to help seniors in our community! The vehicle does not need to run.
The Lake County Council on Aging works with Donation Line LLC to process vehicle donations. They will arrange to pick up your vehicle at no cost. To donate, go to http://www.donationline.com/ and under step 1, “charitable organization,” select Lake County Council on Aging.
