Patricia Mackey

Patricia Mackey, 67, has a charismatic personality that has forged new partnerships with the Lake County Council on Aging and other agencies, providing benefits to seniors. Her compassionate leadership and involvement on various agency boards have impacted the community at large. Pat is a member of the Lake County Advisory Council and the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging and a board member of the Lake County Council on Aging, serving as Board President from 2000-2002.

Her involvement does not stop there as she is driven to make a difference in the lives that she touches. A lifelong resident of Fairport Harbor, Pat is actively involved in her community as president of the Fairport Harbor Mardi Gras, a member of the Fairport Harding High School Alumni Association, and a participant in the Breakfast Bunch group that serves breakfast to elementary school age children Monday through Friday during the school year. Pat is a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Fairport, serving as a lector, eucharistic minister, bereavement captain, and a member of the Parish Life commission and Vibrant Parish Life. She is on the board for Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority and a member of the Governor’s Task Force for Reading.

Before retirement, Pat worked for 23 years as the Office Manager for Diamond Shamrock Recreation Association and has also held positions as the Clerk of Courts for Painesville Municipal Court and was a certified victim’s advocate for the Lake County Victim’s Assistance Program.
