Join the dynamic nutrition services team at Lake County Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, a premier non-profit provider of services to Lake County Seniors.
We are seeking an energetic self-starter for a full-time position in nutrition services. This person will make a positive difference in the lives of hundreds of our seniors.
Responsibilities in support of nutrition site and home delivered meal program:
✓ Verification of data entry from congregate and home-delivered-meal rosters in PEERPLACE.
✓ Enter information in PeerPlace for home-delivered-meal clients (activate, selection of site & route, directions, etc.).
✓ Keep home-delivered-meals database updated by adding new clients, terminating clients, putting on and taking off hold, etc.
✓ Troubleshoot and resolve errors with home delivered meal and congregate rosters
✓ Handle billing for PASSPORT Program and 3 insurance companies, Title III monthly statements.
✓ Keep up-to-date monthly tracking sheets for billing purposes.
✓ Generate comparison reports daily and to instruct Site Coordinators to make necessary corrections.
✓ Enter all meal information for all sites on meals on wheels spreadsheet.
✓ Provide monthly reports to supervisor.
Candidates must pass comprehensive background check.
Job Type: Full-time; 40 per week, 8 hour shift including ½ hour paid break.
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
