Jack Reinhardt


Jack Reinhardt is a recognizable force in areas involving senior citizens, the community and education. Mr. Reinhardt continues to be active on all fronts even after retiring from Parker-Hannifin where he spent 44 years. Jack is a charter member of the Lake County Senior Citizens Levy Coalition, responsible for the passage of the senior levy. He was appointed as delegate-at-large by county commissions and served several years as president of this coalition. Mr. Reinhardt is also a charter member of both North High and South High booster clubs and remains an active member of South High Booster Club for 40 years. He contributes over 500 hours every year toward the club’s bingo program. Jack is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lake County Council on Aging for the past 16 years, including a term as president. He is past president and treasurer of Ridge Acres Civic Association and the Willoughby Kiwanis Club, and remains active in both groups. Since 1976, Jack has been a member of the Little Red Schoolhouse Board, including being treasurer. He has been a member of the Willoughby-Eastlake Board of Education from 1966-1982, and also served from 1984-1992 as a member of the Willoughby City Council. Rounding out his civic involvement, Mr. Reinhardt has donated more than 7,000 volunteer hours at LakeWest Hospital, mostly in the emergency room area.

Jack Reinhardt is a World War II Navy veteran, serving on the USS Lexington. He is an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby.

Past awards include the Willoughby Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 1980 and South High Booster of the Year in 1983.
