George Wagner

George Wagner has always tried to give back to his community twice as much as he has received. He has been heavily involved throughout recent decades with the Lake County Fair Board, Painesville Exchange Club, American Heart Association, Lake County Visitors Bureau, Salvation Army, and Ohio Sea Grant Program.

Mr. Wagner has also been active in local schools and park commissions. He has volunteered countless hours at the Morse Avenue Community Center and the Painesville School District. He also serves as a representative for the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension Office.

Mr. Wagner was instrumental in the formation of the Lake County Chambers of Commerce. He is well known by statewide chambers and extension service offices. In 1998, George was selected as the Painesville Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
