Eva Tindall has served Lake County as a volunteer for over ten years. She has volunteered at the Mentor and Willoughby Senior Centers, Lakeland Community College, and the Lake County Council on Aging. She is serving her third consecutive term as Board Treasurer at the Willoughby Senior Center. Mrs. Tindall was a charter member of the Advisory Board to establish the Elderhostel Program at Lakeland Community College. She has also provided over one thousand hours of volunteer service at Breckenridge Village.

Due to her extensive background in bookkeeping, Mrs. Tindall has been a valuable Treasurer to many organizations in Lake County.  Her training and knowledge of Medicare has helped in her volunteer role as a counselor with the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, which assists older adults with medical paperwork and answers telephone inquiries regarding medical insurance from callers all over the state.  She has also given presentations throughout the county on Medicare fraud and abuse while volunteering for the Med$ave Program.

Mrs. Tindall and her husband, Jack, were recognized as the Willoughby Senior Center’s Senior Couple of the Year in 1998.
